Tony Finau’s wife, Alayna, has quite the following on social media, and she used her platform to send out a cryptic and vague TikTok response to rumors that he will be leaving the PGA TOUR to go to LIV Golf.

We reported yesterday on Finau’s withdrawal from the Hero World Challenge, Tiger Woods’ annual tournament in the Bahamas that features PGA TOUR players. Finau pulled out from the tournament earlier this week without giving fans a reason, fueling rumors that he could be headed to LIV Golf.

Finau was one of several golfers who was rumored to be jumping ship last year. He decided to stay with the PGA TOUR for the 2024 season, but it seems Finau could have a new home very soon.

It would not be the stupidest thing in the world. With the PGA TOUR and LIV Golf potentially joining forces as the former company negotiates with the latter’s financier, the Saudi PIF, Finau could be one of the final pros to cash a big paycheck before golf unifies once again.

However, Alayna chipped in on the talks today, using TikTok to acknowledge the drama that is going on:

It doesn’t reveal anything one way or another. But it is now known the Finau’s are aware of the drama surrounding them, and it probably even confirms that LIV Golf and Finau are in contact.

Rumors have circulated that Finau could be getting his own LIV Golf franchise. It’s a tasty offer.
