While Max Homa was among those spending the weekend before the Presidents Cup playing in the PGA Tour’s Fortinet Championship—and Homa won it—others were taking it a bit easier before the big weekend.

Tony Finau played a round at the Painted Valley Golf Course in Park City, Utah. The Jack Nicklaus-designed course measures 8,100 yards from the tips due to the increased elevation, but that was no problem for Finau.

Not only did he shoot a 60, but after watching the highlights in this Instagram story, it’s clear that Finau left a few shots on the course with some lipped-out putts and other near misses, meaning that his 60—which was already a course record—could’ve easily been a 57.

That’s good news for Finau and the U.S. team heading into the Presidents Cup against the International Team at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina, this coming weekend.

For his part, Finau also finished the PGA Tour season strong, winning back-to-back tournaments in late July before closing out the season with a ninth-place finish at the Tour Championship.
