The U.S. Adaption Open will be the 15th national championship for the USGA. Winners of this tournament will have their names recorded in golf’s history books that include past winners of the U.S. Amateur, U.S. Open and Women’s U.S. Open.

The format will be 54 holes stoke play and is open to male and female golfers with disabilities. The field will be capped at 96 contestants.

Eligibility requirements have not been released but more details will be announced prior to the opening application process beginning in February.

This is what the true meaning of “growing the game” means.
