A Day removed from calling out LIV players by name, Billy Horschel was spotted in a heated discussion with LIV golfer Ian Poulter on the practice green at the DP World Tour’s flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship. Apparently, firing direct criticism at Talor Gooch and Abraham Ancer was just the beginning of an intense weekend for Horschel.

Poulter seems to try and calm Billy down as he intensely makes his point. See here for yourself.

Horschel has been a PGA Tour loyalist since the initial rumblings of LIV, and now he has taken on a defender’s role as well. Billy has stepped up his defense to offense at the BMW PGA Championship, as LIV players are, in his opinion, only showing interest in the tournament to try and gain world ranking points, something that LIV golfers are currently unable to do at their tournaments.

John Rahm also expressed his dissatisfaction with the participation in the tournament. His position was sympathetic to those who have played the tournament for years, who are bumped from the tournament for those like Ancer, Gooch, and Jason Kokrak.

Gooch has responded back to Horschel, claiming hypocrisy.

Rory trolled LIV and threw shade!
