You’ll Never Guess What Tiger Woods Calls the Best Shot of His Career
If this were the 1990s, a “Best Shots by Tiger Woods” series would encompass several volumes of VHS tapes.
In the 2000s, you would’ve been able to fill your Netflix queue with several DVDs of his most memorable shots.
Now, YouTube features plenty of official and unofficial compilations of Woods’ greatest hits on the golf course that would fill up most of your day.
The chip-in at the 2005 Masters (which has to be Nike’s favorite), the long putt on 18 to defeat Phil Mickelson with Arnold Palmer watching at Bay Hill, and the putt on the 72nd hole at Torrey Pines to force that legendary U.S. Open playoff in 2008 all come to mind if you’re a golf fan.
But which shot is the greatest, according to the man himself?

Woods has called it one of his best shots before and reiterated it this week in a chat with TaylorMade.
Ironically, the shot came in a tournament that Woods lost.
He finished a stroke behind Rich Beem at the 2002 PGA Championship. He also would finish runner-up again at Hazeltine to Y.E. Yang in the same tournament in 2009.
