Spotted: Trademark Filing Reveals Tiger Woods’ next Apparel Move
Tiger Woods could be on the cusp of his next apparel decision, according to trademark filings that were discovered on Friday.
Trademark filings submitted by TaylorMade on January 18 reveal that it is now looking to grab the rights to “Sunday Red,” along with imagery that features the initials “SDR,” with a Tiger inscribed within.
The filings are public and are available to view on the United States Patent and Trademark Office, but were first discovered by NUCLR Golf:

Golficity took a look at the trademark filings, and both are registered to TaylorMade Lifestyle Ventures, potentially indicating that the company is making a serious stride into developing apparel based on the 15-time Major winner.
Woods had a very public split with Nike earlier this month, ending a 27-year partnership between him and perhaps the most notable apparel and footwear company in the world.
After months of speculation, Woods announced in early January that he and Nike were officially parting ways.
One of the trademarks features the following description:
"The mark consists of the letters S and D above a tiger design; and the letter R below a tiger design."

Sunday Red could be a play on Woods' typical scripting during the final rounds of golf tournaments, where he wore red in every tournament he played throughout his professional career.
We also gave a quick review on Woods' final Nike footwear piece, which was an ode to The Masters on his '13 model.
