Carnoustie Sportswear Golf Apparel Review

I have previously confessed my golf attire obsession and slightly unrealistic golf attire expectations.

You wouldn’t catch me dead in some run of the mill polo out on the golf course.  And if a golf shirt doesn’t come with magic wicking technology, keep it the hell away from me.

Finally, and really, most importantly, it has to look damn good.

With all of that being said, allow me to introduce you to Carnoustie Sportswear.

Their polos check all the boxes for me.

The shirt I own is super-comfortable.  It’s lightweight with a really nice collar that lays flat and doesn’t curl or doing anything weird or annoying.  It also moves the sweat off my body, keeping me cool as the morning begins warming up.

And, again, most importantly, it looks damn good.  The shirt has a great fit.  It lays comfortably on my shoulders and across my chest, allowing for full motion. At the same time, it’s not so baggy that it bunches up or drapes down to my elbows.

It also includes a bit of extra length at the bottom to ensure it stays tucked in during my round.  Even after what some would call an “over-celebration” after a par.

In all seriousness, Carnoustie’s biggest selling point for me is simply the level of quality.  The fact they look equally as great is just a bonus.

This is a shirt that will be built into my rotation and stay there for a while.
