Brooks Koepka’s Practice Routine Before Tournaments May Surprise You
Brooks Koepka is bringing a level of confidence and swag to the game of golf that most of us are not used to seeing. He’s not throwing a fit when things don’t go his way or getting himself into tabloid cover stories, and there is something about him that’s hard not to like.
Especially when he shows up to the ESPY’s with his girlfriend Jena Sims.

Koepka has won the 2017 and 2018 US Open and the 2018 PGA Championship. This year alone he finished T2 in the 2019 Masters, he won the 2019 PGA Championship and finished solo 2nd in the 2019 US Open.
He is the only player this year who had a legitimate shot at the grand slam. So he must practice like Tiger did back in his prime right?
Quite the contrary…
Koepka said during his media appearance ahead of this year’s Open Championship that the only time you see him playing golf is during a tournament. “Regular tournaments I don’t practice”

He is so beyond confident heading into every major it makes you wonder what he could do if he chose to practice ahead of every tournament.
Tiger Woods who is known for being the most confident player on the planet during recently reached out to Brooks to see if he wanted to play a practice round with him…

Brooks didn’t even call him back.
Tiger laughed about this, but I’d guess this has lit a bit of a fire under Tiger. Between Brooks domination in every major he enters, Tiger’s pursuit to catch Jack and Rory playing in front of the home crowd the 2019 Open Championship is shaping up to a great tournament.
