Pretty much every single course you go to has a ball you can buy. You know, the ones with the course name or logo on it for like $3.

I’ve collected them for years and it’s a nice little trinket to remember your round. But you know what’s an even better souvenir in my opinion? Yardage and green books. When a course has them, they’re a ‘must buy’. Not only do they give you a hole by hole overview of how to play the course, but once you get on the greens you have a cheat code in your back pocket. Flip open the green reading section and you know if that pin location is a green light special or if it’s time to play it safe.

But most courses don’t have a yardage books for sale.  So here’ the backup:  GolfLogix offers a full yardage book/ green book for pretty much any course you want to play. This company has been one of the top GPS app producers in the game for years and now they are going backwards in time with the OG yardage book.

Just navigate to GolfLogix.com, select Shop Green books and find your course. THAT’S IT!

No need to fill out an application or type in the courses GPS location. GolfLogix already has over 200,000 greens mapped for over 35 thousand courses! Because of this, the ordering is seamless. This is a great option for dedicated players who are looking to take their game to the next level. Players who have a tournament coming up so they can’t use an app and players who play the same course multiple times a year and would like to take their game up to the next level.

The cost of the green books is about $40 each. You can order a single book or a case of them. I think this is a really cool option and a great gift idea by GolfLogix! Great job thinking outside box by these guys.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
