REVIEW: How Venustas Can Keep You Warm On and Off the Course
Venustas is a company you might not have heard of, but if you are a golf fan and a person who likes to spend some time in the outdoors doing things when it’s not quite warm, you’re going to want to do yourself a favor and familiarize yourself with the company.
They reached out to me a few months ago in an effort to collaborate on golf and lifestyle reviews. A few days later, I had a heated vest and heated jacket in my possession. Powered by a variety of batteries they offer for different life lengths, their products are sure to keep you warm all day.
I have tested both in several environments. The vest has come in handy on the course and under a hoodie and football jersey at the Baltimore Ravens Divisional Playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where temps reached just ten degrees Fahrenheit after wind chill.

Here’s how I layered up for the game, as the vest is sitting under my two Ravens chains. I was the only one in the group who had zero complaints about the weather during the four-hour tailgate and three-and-a-half-hour football game.
Here’s how they work:
Venustas Men’s Heated Vest
- The water-resistant nylon shell ensures protection in unpredictable weather conditions.
- 30% larger heating panels, compared to other options, ensure more efficient heat distribution.
- Designed with a stand collar for effective neck warming and protection against the wind.
- Easy to layer under a long jacket in chilly weather or wear alone on warmer days.

For cold days, it is pretty warm on its own, but I definitely recommend combining it with a battery pack that they also sell in multiple sizes. 36-watt-hour and 54-watt-hour packs are available, the latter more ideal for longer days in the elements.
It also has three heat settings that bring the vest to different temperatures based on your needs.
The heating elements are also spread out all over the vest in six different zones, which is great because it keeps your whole torso warm instead of just one side:

The Venustas Heated Vest is available for just $119.99 for a limited time!
Venustas Heated Jacket
If you’re also in need of something a little warmer, Venustas offers a lineup of heated jackets that also have the benefits of the vest but with even more warmth!
The jacket features five larger heating zones located in the collar, left & right pockets, mid-back, and lower back, instead of the 8 that are offered in the vest.

It features the following specs:
- 100% PFC-free waterproof shell rated at 5,000 mmH₂O keeps you dry and comfortable in unpredictable weather.
- Experience maximum warmth with lightweight FELLEX® insulation and high-tech silver mylar thermal fabric.
- The detachable & adjustable hood with wide brim shields against light rain and wind, enhancing your visibility in tough weather.
- Waterproof zippers with taped seams provide extra protection against the elements.
- Hem drawstrings and Velcro cuffs help keep the cold out for a snug fit.
- Seven functional pockets including two zippered chest pockets, two zippered hand pockets, one zippered sleeve pocket, one inner chest pocket, and one battery pocket.
I’ve used the vest to stay warm during nights out in the harsh Pennsylvania winter this year. Even when I’m sitting in the car as it heats up, the jacket is a great option to stay warm.
The Venustas 12V Heated Waterproof jacket is available for $199.99.
