The Masters tee times and groupings for Thursday and Friday have been released, and we have taken a look at them.

Here, we will highlight some of the notable groupings that have been announced. Several are truly filled with incredible talent and interesting narratives.

10:18 AM EDT – Hideki, Zalatoris, and JT

The 10:18 AM EDT grouping features 2021 Masters Champion Hideki Matsuyama, Will Zalatoris, who has finished T6 and T2 in just four Masters appearances, and Justin Thomas, who has finished as high as 4th at Augusta.

Matsuyama is as good as they get when it comes to playing at their best, Zalatoris, coming back after a year off due to injury, has a great record at The Masters, and Thomas, who has struggled over the past year, has stated he doesn’t want to win a tournament more than this one.

There should be fireworks.

10:30 AM EDT – Rahmbo, Fitzy, Dunlap

Jon Rahm returns to Augusta as the defending champion. Matt Fitzpatrick, since winning the U.S. Open in 2022, has been incredible, and Nick Dunlap turned pro after beating names like Scottie Scheffler earlier this year as an Amateur at the University of Alabama.

10:42 AM EDT – Scottie, Rory, Xander

With an unbelievable amount of talent in this group, Scheffler, McIlroy, and Schauffele is one of the premier, if not the benchmark, grouping of the day.

10:54 AM EDT – Wyndham, Hovi, Cam Smith

Wyndham Clark won the U.S. Open in 2023 and has been one of the best in the game since. Meanwhile, Viktor Hovland finished T7 last year and had a hot end to the 2023 season with a TOUR Championship win that came with an $18 million payday.

Cam Smith has been a steady performer at Augusta thanks to his mesmerizing putting game. Although he crumbled on Sunday in 2022 after putting his tee shot in the water at 12, Smith is always someone to watch.

1:24 PM EDT – Tiger, J. Day, Homa

The five-time Masters Champion will look for his sixth Green Jacket this weekend, and in his press conference earlier today, he said that he believes he can get one more if everything goes just right.

Jason Day has resurged as a contender at Major Championships and finished second in last year’s Open Championship. Meanwhile, Max Homa has been an extremely impressive player for several years, and when his game is good, he is at the top of the leaderboard.

1:36 PM EDT – Harman, Koepka, Kim

Two of last year’s Major Champions are locked up in this grouping, with Harman, the Open Championship winner, and Koepka, the PGA Champion, paired with Tom Kim, a young, up-and-comer who has become a fan favorite.

When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
