AWESOME GOLF LESSON AT FIVE IRON GOLF // CHICAGO, IL

This week I skip the meal and focus on my game. I heard the buzz about how awesome Five Iron Golf is with lessons, fittings, and club building, I had to go check it out for myself.

FUN FACT: I have never had an actual golf lesson before.

The truth is, most golfers will spend hundreds on new equipment but won’t take the time to use it properly. It’s time to change that.

So I left the cornfields and drove a couple hours to Five Iron Golf in Chicago to see what all the hype was about.

The Five Iron facility in Chicago is top notch – pure ‘class’ if you ask me.  It has a cool vibe which is consistent with all of their locations throughout the country. But I kind of thought this place was just a super cool place to chill, have a drink, and play golf on a huge simulator with the PGA TOUR on the TV.

But did you know that you can take one on one lessons with top notch professionals AND….get fitted for clubs at Five Iron?  For lessons, you can begin as early as 6am and go as late as 10pm. Each lesson features state-of-the-art metrics and video analysis on Full Swing or Trackman simulators.

Tucked in the back of this golfer’s paradise is the lesson center which is a nice touch, because it offers you privacy to focus on your lesson.  It’s just you and PGA professional getting your game in gear.

Lessons are competitively priced and available 7 days a week.  Do yourself a favor and check out a Five Iron Golf if you’re near Philadelphia, Chicago, Baltimore, and New York – with their new flagship location in Herald Square which is coming soon.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
