With Myrtle Beach offering 90 incredible golf experiences ranging from mini-golf to championship courses, our series continues with the Heritage Club, which, for any skill level golfer, will offer a test more than nearly any other track in the area.

Playing at 6,960 yards from the tips and 6,600 from the Blue tees, the Heritage Club’s 138 slope from the furthest tee boxes makes it one of the toughest courses in the area, and it has a reputation for offering a pleasant golf experience that will rival nearly any other course in Myrtle Beach.

It has the recognition to match:

  • #7 Best Course You Can Play in S.C. – GolfWeek
  • “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses” – Golf Digest, 2005 #78; 2007 #46; 2009 #33
  • “Best In State” – Golf Digest, 2005 #23; 2007 #17; 2009 #13
  • 4 1/2 Stars – Golf Digest, 2007 & 2009
  • “Best Public Courses In South Carolina” – Golf Digest, 2008 #14
  • “Top 50 Courses in Myrtle Beach” – Golf Digest, 2007 #7

Throughout the 18 holes, golfers will be challenged with narrow fairways, water obstacles, isolated greens, and natural contours that will challenge anyone’s accuracy.

In addition to the challenge it presents to golfers, it also features “lush stands of crepe myrtle, camellias and azaleas. Heavily landscaped areas of wildflowers and flowering shrubs will maintain the beauty of this beautiful setting for generations to come.”

The Heritage Club shares a rich history with many courses in Myrtle Beach. Over 600 acres of magnolia trees span across the property, as well as 300-year-old oak trees, freshwater lakes and marshes, and an avenue of oak trees that welcome players to the property.

Located 40 minutes from Myrtle Beach International Airport, the Heritage Club is about 25 miles South of the city of Myrtle Beach. There are also accommodations on-site at the Legends Golf Resort, including two and three-bedroom condos at Turnberry Village.

There is also the Hampton Inn Pawley’s Island nearby and the Oceanfront Litchfield Inn, offering several options at the three-star level that are just a few miles from the course.
