Scotty Cameron Adds Four New Putters to Super Select Family

Scotty Cameron’s Tradition of Excellence when it comes to putters has recently resulted in an expansion of four new models to the Super Select lineup, which will arrive in golf shops later this month and offer players a variety of new head shapes and neck configurations to appeal to any preference.

The GOLO 6 and GOLO 6.5 putter heads are new to the Super Select lineup and will feature mid-mallet putter heads. Meanwhile, additional designs include the Fastback 1.5 and Del Mar, which will feature the new “I-beam” neck design that is precision-sculpted and has only been available on worldwide tours.

Scotty Cameron said about the new designs:

“While the GOLO has not been in our production putter line for several years, it has continued to be a winner across the worldwide professional tours. The LPGA Tour’s first major championship of the year – the Chevron Championship – as well the Honda LPGA Thailand, were won with GOLO models. J.T. Poston won the John Deere Classic last year with a GOLO, and we had four GOLO wins on the 2022 Japan PGA Tour. So, I’ve brought back the GOLO name and shape in a new size. It’s a classic mallet shape that offers a lot of forgiveness and alignment in a rounder, softer shape and low profile that’s really pleasing to the eye. And with the new GOLO 6 and 6.5 models, the size is my new favorite. Familiar models like the Fastback 1.5 and Del Mar have been refined with our new dual-milled faces for great feel, combined with the Super Select line’s performance weighting, finish and graphics. We now have a complete Super Select putter family with a model to suit nearly everyone who plays the game.”

Each new design has specific features and offerings that cater to every golfer and their specific and preferred preferences, giving a personalized feel that supplements performance with Tour-level precision.

The 2023 Super Select lineup features four features that are exclusive to these putters in specific:

• Innovative “Plus” Designs – While Newport Plus, Newport 2 Plus, and Newport 2.5 models feature slightly wider profiles to offer more confidence, Scotty Cameron has continued this to increase MOI, giving tour-level looks with amateur-needed forgiveness.
• “Dual-Milled” Face Technology – It is more than just a fancy new design on the face of your putter. Dual-Milled face technology in the new Super Select Lineup gives sound, feel, and feedback to players while combing softness that was so popular in previously-released putters. Consistency and feedback are offered with each roll in Scotty’s more recent mid-milled offerings.
• “I-Beam” Neck Design – GOLO 6.5 and Fastback 1.5 putters feature an “I-beam” neck that is sought-after with Tour pros. They offer a “racier, industrial look” but also provide customization options in terms of repositioned weight from the neck to the heel and toe of the putter head.

Scotty Cameron 2023 Special Select Lineup

• Super Select GOLO 6 – The previous GOLO design offered a slightly different look, but Scotty Cameron has brought it back in a new size that is complemented with a rounded compact mallet that has been precision milled from 303 stainless steel and sized between the previously-launched GOLO 5 and GOLO 7 models. Mid-bend shaft and integrated sole plates machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum complement the dual-milled face technology and sole weights.
• Super Select GOLO 6.5 – One of two new 2023 Super Select Models to be available in a left-handed configuration, the GOLO 6.5 features a small I-beam jet neck and is precision-milled from 303 stainless steel, just as the GOLO 6 is. Dual-milled face technology and adjustable performance weighting is available as well.
• Super Select Del Mar – The Del Mar is a heel-shafted putter with a compact mallet head and flow neck that is also precision-milled from 303 stainless steel. This head will be available in left-handed configurations as well.
• Super Select Fastback 1.5 – Fitted with a precision-sculpted I-beam jet neck and the 2023 Super Select lineup’s standard dual-milled face technology, the Fastback 1.5 is a mid-mallet head with that features a 6061 aluminum sole plate and stainless steel sole weights.

Scotty Cameron’s 2023 lineup featuring the four new models will be available on May 19 at stores across the U.S. and will cost $449.
