Things Backfire for Crazy Golfer Who Rips Shirt Off On Course to Intimidate Others

Through your years of playing golf, you probably have had a story that seems so ridiculous when you tell it to others, they might give you a strange look like it is not true. If you haven’t had that happen yet, trust me, you will.

Golf is a gentleman’s game, without a doubt. But, ever since COVID-19 kept people from interacting in a public forum, golf was basically the workaround for that, and in a weird way, the pandemic was the best thing to ever happen to golf in terms of growth. However, growth is a two-headed sword, and when more people play the game, there are more ‘nut-jobs’ out there to ruin it for everyone.

Take, for example, this guy, who ripped his shirt off in an attempt to intimidate his fellow man. Instead, it backfired, and he has become the talk of the golf world on the internet over the past 24 hours.

The exact details of how this encounter started are unclear. It does seem like green polo may have picked up the ball of one of the people who he had the encounter with.

One thing is for sure, though: that is, this guy in the green polo and cargo shorts was ready to throw down, and he showed it by ripping his polo off and doing a most muscular pose like he was Ronnie Coleman at the Mr. Olympia contest. But these things go one of two ways, and let’s face it, the way this went isn’t the way the guy wanted it to go.

In probably the only logical solution there was in this situation, those who confronted the now-shirtless man drove off and probably had a good laugh right after they did.

In some cases, it’s just not worth getting involved with people who have a screw or two loose, and anyone who rips their shirt off on a golf course in an attempt to provoke hand-to-hand combat is likely an ideal candidate to drive away from and laugh at their expense on the next tee box.

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
