Kikkor Golf Apparel Review

Over the past few years golf fashion seems to have hit it’s stride.  From Tiger’s signature reds and lofty Nike deals, to Rickie Fowler’s edgy, youthful style, it seems as though golf apparel companies are shining like never before.

Recently, we had the privilege of testing some golf gear from Kikkor Golf, a lesser-known, but rapidly growing online retailer specializing in trendy golf gear such as shoes, shirts, pants, and accessories. Overall, we found the Kikkor products we tested to be stylish, comfortable, and most importantly affordable. In total, what we paid for an awesome pair of shoes, comfortable pants, a polo shirt, and an adjustable belt (plus the shipping) came out to about the same price we normally pay for a new pair of golf pants from Nike or Puma.

Our staff was particularly impressed with the overall fit and quality of the Kikkor apparel products we tested.  We found the pants and shirts to be extremely comfortable and the material felt nothing like the “sticky” mesh fabrics that so many of the major golf apparel manufacturers seem to be using lately.  The slip-on loafer style golf Kikkor golf shoes we tested displayed the proper mix of comfort, style, and functionality, and performed excellently even through long rounds on foot.  Lastly, the belt we tested was made of a durable rubber material that felt sturdy and we’re certain it will stand up to many seasons to come.

When it comes to golf gear it appears that Kikkor simply nailed it.  By properly balancing style and quality with an affordable prices, this young apparel company looks like a serious contender to give the big name brands a run for their money.  Kikkor gives the average golfer a way to look great and feel comfortable at a lower price (and that’s all we really can ask for).  Let’s just hope they stay true to their roots and keep prices reasonable when they inevitably start to become more “mainstream.”

To top it all off, the Kikkor staff was incredibly friendly and much easier to deal with than we expected.  So if you want to look and feel great and don’t want to have to take on a second job for some new threads, we highly recommend you pick up something from their site.  We can almost guarantee that you’ll be back for the rest of the outfit within a week.
